The first of the research projects by academic member of Marmara University Faculty of Arts and Sciences and member of MİTTO Executive Committee Assoc. Prof. Cenk Sesal was chosen to be one of the 4 joint projects that will be supported in the fields of science, social sciences, humanities, engineering, medicine and pharmacology within the frame of The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK) and National Research Council of Italy (CNR) Scientific and Technological Cooperation Protocol. While Turkish Partners of the Project are Project Coordinator Assoc. Prof. Cenk Sesal, Prof. Ebru Toksoy Öner, Scholar Doctoral Student Barış Gökalsın, Italian Partners are Project Coordinator Assoc. Giuseppina Tommonaro, Dr. Barbara Nicolaus, Dr. Annarita Poli, Dr. Paola Di Donato and Carmine Jodice (National Council Research of Italy at the Institute of Biomolecular Chemistry)

The other research project by Assoc. Prof. Cenk Sesal was chosen to be one of the 2 projects that are entitled to be supported in the fields of science, social sciences, humanities, engineering, medicine and pharmacology within the frame of Scientific and Technological Cooperation Protocol between The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK) and Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS). While Turkish Partners of the Project are Project Coordinator Assoc. Prof. Cenk Sesal, Assoc Prof. Gülşah Yiğitoğlu and Scholar Doctoral Student Barış Gökalsın, Bahçeşehir University Assoc.
