Ibrahim Nasrallah Was a Guest at Our University
Palestinian novelist and poet Ibrahim Nasrallah, one of the most prominent figures in Contemporary Arabic Literature, came together with our students in two separate events on 18-19 February.
Speaking in the session, the first was held on 18 February at Bağlarbaşı Congress and Culture Center,moderated by Marmara University Prof. of Political Science Cengiz Tomar PhD, İbrahim Nasrallah said that before the military resistance, there was resistance literature and said, "Palestinian writers saw this; we should be responsible for each and every part of our world."Many Palestinian writers have contributed to the field of literature in many countries of the world. The novels change the perspective of countries ". İbrahim Nasrallah, saying that the consciousness of the world is a test;"It has been 100 years to prove that the world is conscious, but it unfortunately proves that it is not conscious ever and every day. All these questions constitute your understanding of Palestine. These writings will also be reflected in our writings. İbrahim Nasrallah, who stated that he had a very difficult time in his past life, said, "I want to talk about the times when we stayed in the tents at the first class. I remember it was raining a lot. We were sitting in a muddy place.’’
The writer attended the session entitled "Palestine and Jerusalem in İbrahim Nasrallah's Novels", held on 19 February at the Conference Hall of the Faculty of Political Sciences.
