“Improving Teachers’ Social Skills” Workshop

30 educationists from five different countries attended the workshop which is coordinated by Faculty Vice Dean Assist. Prof. Şaban Berk. Faculty Dean Prof. Ahmet Şükrü Özdemir made an opening speech in the workshop. During the workshop, the events will be held within the framework of 6 social skills that is necessary to perform teaching profession efficiently. According to needs analyses carried out in 5 different countries, it is determined that teachers need certain social skills such as efficient communication, collaboration, entrepreneurship, lifelong learning, problem solving and literacy in order to perform their profession efficiently. In first two days of the workshop, applied events will be held within the framework of these skills and in last two days of the workshop social events will be held.
