Prof. Dr. Emine Gürsoy Naskali Gave a Seminar on the Studies for Turkish Name Science

Prof. Dr. Emine Gürsoy Naskali  emphazied in her presentation that district, square and streets are entitled on the basis of the economic and social incidents;  and  imageries  of the struggles encountered can be seen in the brochures and postage stamps.

Emphisizing on the example of  Plevna March which was composed after death of Gazi Osman Paşa, Naskal analysed the lyrics of this marche. She reminded that Plevna march was written in memory of the struggle given by Ottoman and Ghazi Osman Pasha on the ground of the enclosure of Plevna during the Ottoman- Russia War between 1877-1878.  Naskali told how did  economic and social conditions in the history of Ottoman Empire affect public, by exemplfying it in imageries of the folk sang and poems.
