The Halva Symposium at Turkish Culture

The opening speech of the programme was made by Dean of Faculty of Art and Science Prof. Sebahat Deniz Ph.D. The guests who attended it, at their speech, mentioned that the halva traditions purposefully ritualistic and socialising at folk culture, that dishing out halva as part of the food for the deads traditionally at the Turks, that sugar, dessert, and halva at Turkish language trophies, that the functions of halva as a blessed food, that madeing halva traditions from father to son in Sinop, that halva cookers at 18th century in Istanbul, that halva descriptions of Muhammed bin Mahmud Şirvani from 15th century, that dessert and halva culture regarding westerner itinerants, that unripe grade that poet made halva, sugar of halva, that halva details in Turkish poetry, that imitations related to classical Turkish petry.
