The Second Of the Series Of Panels named “Arbitration School” Was Held

“The Interpretation the Arbitration Agreement: Pathological and Asymmetrical Arbitration Agreements” was discussed in the panel. The  panel that various arbitration practices were  exemplified was attended by  Research Assist.  Ozan Tok from Marmara University  Faculty of Law and Lawyer Sumru Akter from Göksu- Aydın Attorneys at Law. As speakers, they  provided  that  practitioners, academicians and students studying in this field were informed.   Dr. Sibel Öz,  Head of the Department of Private International Law, Faculty of Law  Marmara University and Lawyer Serdar Paksoy, Founding and Senior Partner at Paksoy Law Office,  participated in the panel as interpreter.Those interpreters dealed with the subject with its academic aspects and discussed some challenges in the practice with concrete trial samples.

Every panel will take place on the last wednesday of each month between 06:00  pm and 09:15 pm at the Marmara University Faculty of  Law, Haydarpaşa Campus.  It  is intended to continue regularly for four years under the project including young and senior academicians and practitioners who  will make their presentations on different and significant topics about arbitration. The notices presented in the September – June period of every year will be published into a book.
