RESEARCH CENTER FOR GERMANY - TURKEY RELATIONS
With the qualified academic staff studying at different departments of Marmara University, the Research Center for German-Turkey Relations defines the following objectives:
- Considering the special role of Germany in Turkeys EU membership process, the Center aims to provide scientific support in order to improve multi-dimensional relations between Turkey and Germany by intensifying economic, social, cultural and educational studies.
- The Center aims to take a prominent role by developing strategies and implementing projects in which universities, research centers, institutes and other public and private organizations work together to improve Germany Turkey relations.
- The Center aims at providing necessary scientific studies for the benefit of governmental organizations, trade associations, research institutions and other NGOs.
- Considering the role of Turks in Germany as a bridge between the two countries, the Center also aims to conduct studies and projects on the education and adaptation processes of Turkish community living in Germany as well as their contribution to the relations between Germany and Turkey.
- The Center also aims to publish journals and periodicals which will be covered by SSCI/AHCI.
