RESEARCH CENTER FOR INTERNATIONAL TEXTILE AND CLOTHING TECHNOLOGIES(UTKAR)

The mission and the objectives of the Center are to;

Search for and generate solutions to the problems of the textile and clothing enterprises; provide information exchange at an international level, develop systems about productivity, standards, quality, total quality and quality management and actually apply these systems in the field of textile and clothing technologies, make technology – information flow constant at an international level. contribute to the public and private sector by providing them with technical services such as renewing information, developing new technologies, in-service training, consultancy and supervision,. contribute to the educational programs by training technologically well equipped staff in the higher education of Textile and Clothing, cooperate with the international science and research institutions, universities and other educational institutions to conduct co- projects and studies, enhance the international relations of Turkey in Textile and Clothing Industry through scientific and technological research studies thus broadening (for Turkey) the areas to be exploited.
