RESEARCH CENTER FOR MARINE LAW AND COASTAL ENVIRONMENTAL PROBLEMS

The mission and the objectives of the center are to;

Conduct multidisciplinary scientific and application studies on Marine law and environment problems, and provide solutions based on the findings of such studies.

Constitute an archive of important articles, and books required for the Center’s research studies.

Conduct studies to determine the scientific methods related to Marine law and coastal environmental problems, and to co-operate with other national and international institutions for the determination of these scientific methods, and to employ staff outside the center to conduct studies on this issue.

Hold conferences and seminars in which plenary speakers are national and foreign experts.

Co-operate with national and international institutions working in the same field, provide necessary educational facilities to the training of experts, have regular publications regarding its missions and objectives.

Provide consultancy to national and international institutions so that necessary administrative measures concerning marine law and coastal environmental law can be taken..
