RESEARCH CENTER FOR TRADITIONAL HANDICRAFT AND DESIGN

The aim of the center is to;

Detect and evaluate works of art, conduct research studiesto develop contemporary handicraft, conduct scientific, technical and artistic research studies on design, detect the spread of traditional handicraft, and its social and economic position through scientific methods, gather works of traditional handicraft, and evaluate them scientifically and economically, form teams to conduct research, evaluate, develop and restore works of art, design projects concerning Industrial design, and co-operate with public and private institutions for the application of the projects, fulfill tasks that require design, research, and model improvement, hold congresses, symposiums, seminars, conferences, workshops etc. on traditional handicraft and design.
