The event started on 4 December 2017  with the speech of Club President Kubra Yıldız. Dean of Business Administration Faculty Prof. Nuran Cömert PhD, faculty member Hüseyin Güvenin, Disabled Student Unit Coordinator Zuhal Pek, Braille Chairman of Technical Board Uğur Demirci, Head of Department of Primary School Teacher Prof.M. Cihangir Doğan PhD and İnal Aydınoğlu, the author and lecturer, contributed to the activity with their speeches. The conference ended with a mini concert of the Visual Impaired Music Group. Contestant gift vouchers will be given to the first 3 of the Day of Persons With Disabilities Chess Tour which will be held for 3 days.
