Interdisciplinary understanding is considered quite important today. Interdisciplinary studies are made in order  to identify multi dimensional phenomenons and events, to solve complex problems, to make new interpretations, to create products. In interdisciplinary studies, disciplines, interdisciplinary relations with each other, which discipline will be more effective for what purpose, how to combine the disciplines are discussed.

Music education includes many disciplines in both scientific and artistic contexts. When we look at these disciplines, we first see the importance of mathematics education. Because music is a mathematical approach. it is known that music has been included in mathematics since  Farabi, Pythagora.  In this way, studies in the combination of different scientific fields in the past have come to the present day.

Today,  interdisciplinary research, which means that fields are supporting each others instead of a single fieldwork, remains important. In this context, the congress has created an important platform in which scientific, artistic and professional researches are shared and the researchers who work in this field come together to share information and exchange ideas.
