Istanbul Flute Ensemble Completed the European Tour

The Istanbul Flute Ensemble will be at the Zala Bulgaria Hall, Sofia, in the capital of Bulgaria on March 18;  at the European Flute Communities Festival in Poznan, Poland, on April 5 and 6;  at International Adams Music Festival in the Netherlands on April 12, with its performences comprised of  the pieces of Turkish composers.

In the concerts, Ahmet Altınel, Barış Zilberman, Cihat Aşkın, Deniz Noyan, Koray Sazlı, Orçun Orçunsel, Oya Çınar, Özge Gülbey Usta, Sercan Büyükedes, Yalçın Tura and Yusuf Yalçın's arrangements and pieces were performed.

The ensemble artists who have adopted the mission of introducing Turkish composers in national and international platforms are composed of academicians of Marmara University, Mimar Sinan University and Yıldız Technical University and their graduate students.

The ensemble was founded in  2015 by Prof. Ece Karsali of Marmara University, Prof. Ayla Uludere of Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University and Dr. Şebnem Uşen of Yıldız Technical University. The group attracting the attention of many Turkish composers and music lovers due to the hosting of all the members of the flute family and having a unique structure attracts great acclaim in the festivals they participate in their country and abroad.
