Organized by the "International Manufacturing Engineering Academy" (CIRP), the most established and major international academic institution in the world, in the 4th this year, held in Tianjin, China on 11-13 July 2018 "The 4th CIRP Conference on Surface Integrity", where  92 articles and 32 posters  were presented, Faculty of Technology Department of Mechanical Engineering  Assoc. Prof. Yusuf Kaynak’s  report titled "Finish machining-induced surface roughness, microhardness and XRD analysis of selective laser melted Inconel 718 alloy" was deemed worthy the "Best Paper" award. We congratulate Assoc.Prof.Yusuf Kaynak PhD for the work he has done on this field and congratulate him on his future work his academic career.
