Our Faculty of Science Is Representing Our University In 5 Nationwide Competitions

The first of these competitions was named “TEKNOFEST 2019 Rocket” and it was held between September 2 -10th. 3 teams from our university competed in the tournament. 575 teams applied for the “TEKNOFEST 2019 Rocket” event and 90 of these teams were allowed to compete in the contest after an elimination round that had 4 phases.

The second competition which is called “TÜBİTAK Efficiency Challange – Eloktromobile / Hydromobile 2019” will be held between September 14th and 19th and 2 teams from our Faculty of Science will compete in the event. 80 teams have applied to compete in the event and 71 of these teams earned the right to join the contest.

“TEKNOFEST 2019 – Fighter UAV” and “TÜBİTAK International Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) 2019” competitions will also be held between the 16th and 22nd of September. 1 and 4 teams from our Faculty of Technology will compete in these events respectively. 500 teams applied to compete in the “TEKNOFEST 2019 -  Fighter  UAV” and 30 of these teams were allowed to compete in the event after an elimination round consisting of 4 phases. On the other hand, out of the 291 teams that passed the first elimination round of the second competition, 118 of them earned the right to compete in the event after the 4 phased elimination round.

The last of the events is "TÜBİTAK University Student Research Projects Contest” and it will be held between the 16th and 22nd of September. 36 teams from the Marmara region have applied to join the competition’s medicine branch. Marmara University Faculty of Technologies team placed first within the TEKNOFEST part of the event and thus earned the right to compete in the Turkey finals.

 We wish our 11 teams and our Faculty of Sciences success and hope they win awards in these competitions.
