Prof.Dr. Fatma Ayanoğlu Attended the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women

Prof.Dr. Fatma Ayanoğlu, Director of the Center for Women’s Studies (ESKAR),  attended the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women that was organized by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security at the Presidential Complex.  

Director of ESKAR Prof. Dr. Fatma Ayanoğlu met with the Deputy Minister of Culture  Özgül Özkan Yavuz, Advisor to the President Gülnur Aybet, the first woman governor of Usak  Funda Kocabıyık and artists.  Ayanoğlu exchanged ideas on women's work in the interviews and told her studies about the fight against violence and women's employment.

Esteemed Mrs. Emine Erdoğan also participated in the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women program and emphasized the message that violence against women cannot be accepted in any way. Erdogan, " We do not tolerate even a drop of tears. " said. 

The program ended with the explanations by the Minister of Family, Labor and Social Services Mrs. Zehra Zümrüt Selçuk about the new steps of the ministry on combating violence against women.
