13 participants from 9 different universities and institutions presented their scientific papers in the symposium. The opening ceremony of the symposium was held with the participation of   Vice Rector of Marmara University Prof. Dr. Mustafa Çelen and  Head of the Department of Commercial Law of the Faculty of Law of Marmara University Prof. Dr. Murat Alışkan, who is also director of the symposium. The symposium was performed in four sessions. Former Vice Rector of Marmara University Prof. Dr. Merih Kemal Omağ, Lecturer of Business Administration at Marmara University Prof. Dr. Ayşe Sumer, Prof. Dr.  Murat Alışkan and Att. Erkan Daniş took place in the symposium as session moderators.  

The symposium where attorney and lawyers  as well as academicians showed great interest continued all day. After the symposium where recent issues of company law were  examined from different perspectives, the full texts of the papers will be reviewed and published as a symposium book.
