Cooperation Protocol was Signed Between Our University and Turkish Statistical Institute

Within the Official Statistical Programme,  a protocol was signed between Marmara University and Istanbul Regional Office of Turkish Statistical Institute with the aim of contributing to academic studies of Marmara University’s lecturers, providing our students an oppurtunity to work in the TSI as intern, introducing the workings of TSI, encouraging and developing mutual cooperation and common understanding, and producing statistics that are  quality, accurate, reliable, coherent, impartial  and generated according to the international standards.  The Protocol was signed by  Rector Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar and TSI Deputy

According to the protocol, the partners need to display sensitivity for producing statistics without content deficit, enhancing quality and improving statistics within the Official Statistical Programme;  our  students will be provided an opportunity to intern  in the TSI Istanbul Regional Office within TSI Internship Directive and they will be informed through meetings and seminars about the workings carried out by Turkish Statistical Institute. In case our lecturers will request, they are able to use TSI Istanbul Regional Office Data Research Center within micro data access.
