Opening ceremony was held with Health Minister Prof. Recep Akdağ under chairpersonship of Deputy Dean of the Marmara University Pharmacy Faculty Prof. Güniz Küçükgüzel. Chair of the congress Prof. Ş. Güniz Küçükgüzel made an opening speech in the congress.

This year,  IVEK congress IVEKBIO 2017 symposium was held with 60 poster notices and presentations of 9 academicians, 7 company representatives and TPE Turkish Patent Institute specialist in the IVEK congress.  Panels also were held with the collaboration of Student Workshop Organizing Committee within the scope of 3rd IVEK in order to create communication and network environment between students and collogues, to introduce the profession to students and to expand awareness and enhance students’ knowledge being parallel to support their vocational knowledge. 3rd IVEK International Convention of Pharmaceuticals and Pharmacies ended with closing ceremony and award ceremony in the end of fourth day of the congress.
