The opening speech of the workshop was made by Dr. Lect. Güssün Güneş, Director of Library and Documentation Department .  James Testa, Vice President of the Editorial Development & Publisher Relations Department of Clarivate Analytics, gave information in his presentation about the principles and targets  of journal selection process, new approaches for the  collecting, how to apply for journal and what is the assessment process, and what is the citation of the  journal and bulk citation, what for the journal are removed from index and how to calculate the impact factor of a journal.
