Prof. Özgür Çatıkkaş and principal of MUCE Prof. Dr. Ahmet Yılmaz.

Chief of the Association of Financial Institutions Mehmet Cantekin who spoke at the certificate ceremony held with participants from three sectors said: ‘’we, as a roof of three sectors, are working to provide top quality for our members all the time. I believe that it makes a great contribution to financial literacy and to our country by our educational establishment. We provided our 62 colleagues with certificates in trainings held till today. As Association of Financial Institutions we fulfil the responsibility of arranging educational activities in accordance with the law no. 6361. Main goal of our trainings is to bring in qualified people being aware of the principles of the profession to our country. I also would like to underline that we make contributions to sustainable development of our country by this kind of trainings. In this regard I congratulate the certificate holders and wish them success in their career.’’

Chief of the BRSA Mehmet Ali Akben said in his speech: ‘’I want to express my happiness that third time I am here at the Core Expertise in the Financial Institutions certificate ceremony during my chairmanship term. Business has theoretical and practical sides that go for all other occupational groups. The moment we combine practical and theoretical knowledge, we raise our chance of success to the top. It is important that this kind of trainings continue to take place for college students to have theoretical and practical basis. The Association of Financial Institutions makes a significant contribution to financial literacy by bridging the practical gap by these trainings that the association provides for the real sector. Chief of the BRSA Mehmet Ali Akben who says there is no such a thing like information surplus resumed his speech: ‘’ the more you have an insatiable desire for knowledge, the more you are good for our society and country. The number of universities that are few in number in the past went up along with improving Turkey and universities are available in many provinces. In this regard I believe that our students need to raise the number of certificates they have. We need to know not only Turkey but also abroad in terms of finance sector development. Our sector competes with abroad any longer, we compare our standards with theirs and we have come to the point that we speak the same language to them. We are going to work as a whole country and also develop our self-improvement constantly.’’

Principal of the MUSEM Prof. Ahmet Yılmaz said : ‘’We, as Marmara University, experience the pride of bringing in qualified people to finance sector. We are an institution that our many colleagues in the sector have been in here one way or another before. Marmara University is a school set up on Sultan Hamid’s vision and has brought in qualified specialists to finance and trade areas while making progress constantly in republic period. In lifelong learning program framework the university is going to keep on certifying the trainings by giving trainings in cooperation with private sector. I congratulate all young professional participants attending ‘Core Expertise in Financial Institutions’ training.’’
