Ceremony began with the speech of  Faculty Dean Prof. Ş. Küçükgüzel PhD in which  she gave details on Faculty of Pharmacy’s taking second place in university preferences,Erasmus, internship, student club activities, Marmara Pharmaceutical Journal magazine, Başıbüyük settlement. TEKB President Pharm. Mustafa Turunç, M.U. Faculty of Pharmacy Faculty Member of the Board of Directors Asst. Assoc. Dr. Sevgi Karakuş and Vice-Chancellor Prof.Recep Bozlağan PhD made their speeches. Following the protocol speeches, Cihangir Görgün, who entered with the highest score of ÖSYS in our faculty, and  2016-2017 academic year top scoring students  were given certificates of achievement  . Then, Health Sciences University Gülhane Faculty of Pharmacy Prof Dr. Yalçın Ozkan PhD  gave the opening lecture on "National Pharmacopoeia". Prof. Yalçın Özkan gave a National Pharmacopoeia composed of three volumes to Cihangir Görgün. The ceremony ended with students dressing their white aprons and photo shooting.
