The training was held by Instructor Tarık Özay from Istanbul Fire Department. It was answered the guestions such as “What is fire? What is combustion? How should we act in the fire? What should we do before and after the fire?”. Instructor Özay continued his education by explaining the informative videos and the events he encountered. Emphasizing that a significant part of the fires is due to lack of information and precaution, Özay talked about the measures that can be taken at home, public spaces and workplaces. In her speech, he said "The Istanbul Fire Brigade has an intervention speed that exceeds world standards with its capacity to reach the scene in 4.5 minutes". We are prepared for each event as Istanbul Fire Department. But our first aim is to ensure that measures are taken to prevent such incidents. Following the training, the building was evacuated according to the rules during a fire. Özay demonstrated how to intervene in the fire.
