The ceremony started with stand in silence and the Turkish National Anthem. Opening speech was made by the Principal of the Institute Prof. Göksel Şener. Student at Anatomy Department, Dr. Özlem Kirazlı made a speech on the graduates. After the opening speeches, Marmara Quartet consisting of Caner Şahin and Alper Semih on guitar gave a concert. The ceremony ended with oral presentations of doctoral students after the commencement.
