Revanian Khanate Conference

Prof. Okan Yeşilot PhD  moderated the conference in which Prof.Firudin Ağasıoğlu PhD (Celilov) participated. Armenian and Azerbaijani history were discussed at the conference. "In order to live together, common alphabets and books are needed, all the Turkish states can express themselves together under the same roof’’. Prof.Firudin Ağasıoğlu PhD said, "I look at this situation very normal. Because it's been through history. In other words, when we had such a history, there were two common Turkish languages. A Turkish language was a language spoken in Azerbaijan , Iran and in Anatolia. The other was Chagatay language. It was also a language spoken by Uzbeks and Uighurs. So there were two common languages, we have experienced such a cycle. To resuscitate, we need the common alphabet, we need books written in common language. " Speaking about the history of the Armenia , Prof.  Agasuoglu; "Throughout history, today's Armenia is actually a Turkish homeland. When you look at the pictures of the city of Yerevan 100 years ago, the city is filled with mosques. In other words, it is a Turkish city and a multi-faced city. The Revan Khanate is the original and the true Turk. Everything in there was Turkish at that time. In 1918 the present Armenian state was established with the help of the Russians and it was called Armenia. In other words, Armenia has 100 years of age.’’ At the end of the program, the Director of Turkic Research Institute Prof. Okan Yeşilot PhD presented flowers to Mr. Ağasıoğlu.
