The President of the Council of Higher Education (CoHE), Prof. Erol Özvar, attended a senate meeting held on Friday, March 6, at the Mehmet Genç Campus, chaired by the Rector of Marmara University, Prof. Mehmet Emin Okur.
The meeting was attended by CoHE President Prof. Erol Özvar, Marmara University Rector Prof. Mehmet Emin Okur, Vice Rectors Prof. Ayşin Satan, Prof. Ümit Süleyman Şehirli, and Prof. Yaşar Kabataş, along with members of the university senate.
During the session, Prof. Özvar shared evaluations regarding Marmara University's academic agenda and the general state of higher education. Following the meeting, he joined faculty members for an iftar program. The program highlighted the blessings of Ramadan and the spirit of solidarity within university life, while emphasizing the importance of academic cooperation and joint projects.
