An opening ceremony was held for BAPKO which was moved to the new office in Marmara University, Goztepe Campus Departments building on October 26, 2016. Vice Rector Prof. Mehmet Akalın, BAPKO Unit Coordinator Prof. H. Özkan Gülsoy and Department Manager İrfan Arıcan also attended the ceremony.
