Assoc. Prof. Yusuf Kaynak Obtained TUBİTAK Funding for His Project

The production of the materials used in the experimental stage of the project, some experimental studies and bringing material in use for the project will be supported by the NASA Glenn Research Center. In this his project continuing for 30 days, researchers will test behaviors of the new generation Shape-Memory Materials used in the fields such like space, aviation and biomedical engineering under high temperatures and stain rates. In the project, researchers also will test the ability of shaping by machining and Shape-Memory Materials will be modelled and simulated.

It is expected to develop the current finite element software engineering programs of the simulation technology and to contribute considerably this material to be used widespread in the fields of space, aviation and biomedical engineering.

We congratulate our academician and we wish a continuing success to him.
