Within the “Children’s University” project carried out by the Marmara University Young Red Crescent Club, a graduation ceremony was held on May 8 for primary school students who completed their educational program on the Göztepe Campus. Throughout the project, which took place between May 5 and 8, students explored the campus and had the opportunity to get acquainted with classrooms, laboratories, and academic units. By participating in various hands-on activities, they gained insights into university life.
At the end of the project, a diploma ceremony was held on May 8 at Marmara University’s Faculty of Law for the students graduating from the “Children’s University.” The ceremony began with an opening speech by Marmara University Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kurt, who emphasized that experiencing university life at an early age is a valuable opportunity for children’s educational development. The event continued with a speech by Research Assistant Dr. Efsun Görkem Göksungur, advisor of the Marmara University Red Crescent Club. Following the opening remarks, diplomas were presented to the students, and the program concluded with a group photo session.
