The winning teams of Marmara University's traditional sports tournament “Rectorate Cup-Marmara Cup25” received their awards at a ceremony held on Thursday, May 22, at Şehit Ömer Halisdemir Sports Hall on Göztepe Campus. In the tournament organized by the Department of Health, Culture and Sports, 61 teams competed in basketball, football and volleyball in the student category, while a total of 16 teams competed in football and basketball branches in the staff category.

At the end of the tournament, trophies and medals were presented to the winning teams by Marmara University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Hasan Korkut and academic staff. In his speech at the ceremony, Vice Rector Korkut congratulated all the athletes who participated in the tournament and thanked the administrative and academic staff and all the units that contributed to the organization.
