The “TrNext Think Tank – New Generation Thinking Ecosystem Project for Turkey’s Technology-Based Development,” which aims to contribute to Turkey’s technology-driven progress, is being launched under the coordination of Assoc. Prof. Selim Hartomacıoğlu from Marmara University Faculty of Technology.
Coordinated by Recep Tayyip Erdoğan University and with Marmara University among its partners, the project emphasizes the active participation of young people in the fields of digital transformation and high technology. It aims to produce strategic reports and policy recommendations regarding technology policies, industrialization strategies, and innovation processes.
In addition to Marmara University, the project’s partners include the Rize Associations and Foundations Union Foundation (RİDEVA), Yeni Dünya Foundation, the Academic Thought, Education and Civilization Club (ADEM), and the Innovative Youth Think Tank Group.
Supported by the Turkish National Agency within the scope of the Erasmus+ Youth Participation program, the project will be implemented through events held in three different cities with the participation of public institutions and non-governmental organizations. The program schedule is as follows:

October 2025 – Rize: Local Entrepreneurship and Commercialization Based on Digital Transformation

December 2025 – Samsun: Digitalization and Democracy: Youth Participation

March 2026 – Istanbul: Digital Transformation and Technoparks in Technology Development Processes
The final event, which will take place in Istanbul in March 2026, will be hosted by the Marmara University Faculty of Technology, where the project’s final outputs will be shared.
