A  Cooperation Protocol Signed  Between Marmara University and Qatar University

An academic cooperation ptorocol, originally called "MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) Agreements", was signed between Marmara University and Qatar University to develop academic and educational cooperation. The protocol was signed by Prof. Dr. Erol Ozvar and Dr. Hassan Al- Derham on July 1, 2021, at the  Marmara University Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Complex. Within the framework of the agreement,  it was decided on the exchange of faculty and administrative staff,  exchange of undergraduate and graduate students, conducting collaborative research projects, conducting lectures and symposia and promoting academic co-operation.

In addition, it was agreed that exchange students will not pay any fees to the host institution, the exchange period is determined as one semester (half year), and any cooperation depends on the available resources and financial support of the relevant institution. This  protocol may be amended or modified by a written agreement signed by the representatives of both institutions and will remain effective for a period of five years from the date of execution.  

After the signing ceremony, a  short tour was made by the Rector Prof. Erol Özvar  to introduce the new  phase of the Complex.
