MarmaRUN 2026, organized by the Marmara University Alumni Office Coordination (MEZOF), was held on June 7, 2026, at Beykoz Küçüksu Çayırı with the theme "Running on the Bosphorus."
The organization, held for the eighth time this year, brought together approximately 1,500 participants in the unique atmosphere of the Bosphorus. The event, attended by students, alumni, academics, administrative staff, corporate representatives, and running clubs, began with a warmup program in the morning, followed by the official start given by the Alumni Office Coordinator, Prof. Dr. Bülent Yılmaz.
In the award ceremony held after the race, athletes who placed in the 5K and 10K general classification and age categories received their awards. In the student clubs category, Istanbul Aydın Run Club came first, Turkish-German University second, and Marmara University Data Science Club third. In the corporate category, Sepaş Enerji and Aksa were deemed worthy of an award.
Having been organized continuously for eight years, MarmaRUN continues to promote a culture of sports while bringing together members and alumni of Marmara University through a shared event.
