Marmara University’s project titled “Empowering Sustainability Through Green Additive Manufacturing Education (Edu-GArD3n Project)”, supported by the European Union, has been awarded a grant under the Erasmus+ Strategic Partnerships program.
The project aims to develop educational and innovative solutions in the field of green manufacturing and sustainability, with a particular focus on enabling higher education students and researchers to gain expertise in environmentally friendly additive manufacturing technologies.
The three-year project will be implemented through the collaboration of several higher education institutions—Marmara University (Türkiye), Brno University of Technology (Czech Republic), Universitat Internacional de Catalunya (Spain), and University of Padova (Italy)—along with an industrial partner from Türkiye, AYEM Innovation. The Brno University of Technology will act as the project coordinator, while Marmara University will serve as the higher education implementing partner in Türkiye.
With a total budget of 400,000 euros, the project will be managed by a consortium comprising Marmara University’s Nanotechnology and Biomaterials Application and Research Center (NBUAM) and the Faculty of Technology.
