The undergraduate program in Public Relations and Publicity at Marmara University Faculty of Communication has been accredited for a five-year period  by the Evaluation and Accreditation Board for Communication Education (ILEDAK). Following the completion of the accreditation process, a certificate presentation ceremony was held on Wednesday, June 4 at the Rectorate Building of Marmara University.

The ceremony was attended by Marmara University Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kurt, President of the Communication Research Association (ILAD) Prof. Dr. Aysel Aziz, ILEDAK Chair Prof. Dr. Recep Tayfun, Dean of the Faculty of Communication Prof. Dr. Mehmet Emin Babacan, Head of the Department of Public Relations and Publicity Prof. Dr. Ebru Özgen, and faculty members of the department.

As a result of the evaluation process conducted by ILEDAK, a decision of compliance was reached based on the alignment of educational activities, quality assurance, curriculum structure, faculty qualifications, student achievements, and graduate competencies with institutional standards. The decision was read aloud to Prof. Dr. Ebru Özgen, Head of the Department of Public Relations and Publicity, and the accreditation certificate was presented to the Dean of the Faculty of Communication, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Emin Babacan, by ILAD President Prof. Dr. Aysel Aziz.The event concluded with a group photograph.
