Europe President Turgay Demirel who was former President of Turkey Basketball Federation, former basketball player of the Galatasaray and National Basketball Team attended the interview which our students and academic stuff participated in the Sport Sciences Faculty. Turgay Demirel attending with Head of the Sport Management Department Prof. Turgay Biçer’s invitation expressed his contentment to be there in the faculty. Demirel mentioned about the issues such like: the progress of being Turkey Basketball Federation President, the change of administrative and fiscal conditions of sport and particularly basketball in Turkey during years, preparation, planning, application and organization of 2001 European Basketball Championship and 2010 World Basketball Championship, problems and how these problems can be solved. Demirel answered students’ questions sincerely. In the end of the interview, Turgay Demirel presented flowers and was taken a souvenir photo.
