“Language of Silence” Event from the Marmara Change Club  

Marmara Change  Club organized an event titled “Language of Silence” to understand individuals with their differences in their hearing organs and to experience their lives, with the participation of Gökçe Çayır, Sworn Sign Language Translator.

Within  the event that was held in the Conference Hall of the Faculty of Business Administration, in addition to the reasons for disability, issues such as hearing impaired schools and education systems, deaf culture in the Ottoman Empire and today, and hearing devices were also mentioned.

With the introduction of Sign Language Initial Training (Meeting with the Alphabet), the aim was to raise awareness for the participants.
