The Marmara Mediation Team, operating under Marmara University Faculty of Law, represented Marmara University in the International Commercial Mediation Competition (ICC) held in February and was awarded the “Distinction in Relationship Building with the Other Team.”

The competition, recognized as a prestigious international platform, brings together 58 teams from 34 countries to resolve commercial disputes through mediation. After a comprehensive eight-month preparation, the Marmara Mediation Team was evaluated on diverse criteria, including negotiation skills, communication management, and a solution-oriented approach.

With the previous year’s success, where they received the “Distinction in Acknowledgement of Cultural Differences” award, the Marmara Mediation Team has achieved success at the International Commercial Mediation Competition for two consecutive years. This accomplishment significantly enhances the international visibility of the university’s work in the field of alternative dispute resolution and mediation.
