The “International Symposium on Eco-Benign Manufacturing Frontier” and the Doctoral Students Forum, held on October 23-24 in Nanjing, China, were organized in the field of manufacturing technologies with the participation of Marmara University and various universities from Italy and China.

The event was realized in collaboration with Marmara University (Turkey), Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (China), University of Pavia (Italy), Jiangsu University of Technology (China), and Southwest University of Science and Technology (China). Prof. Dr. Yusuf Kaynak from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Marmara University’s Faculty of Technology and one of the symposium chairs, delivered the opening speech and gave a presentation highlighting the future of sustainable and eco-friendly manufacturing technologies and recent developments in the field.

The next edition of the symposium, which strengthens international academic collaborations, will be hosted by Marmara University in 2026.
