Marmara University Students Exhibited Their Projects at TEKNOFEST Istanbul

Marmara University participated in TEKNOFEST (Aviation, Space, and Technology Festival) held at Istanbul Atatürk Airport between September 17–21, with projects developed by its students. The festival, followed by more than one million visitors in total, attracted great interest from all across Türkiye.

Within the scope of the festival, Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır, President of the Council of Higher Education (CoHE) Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar, and Rector of Marmara University Prof. Dr. Mehmet Emin Okur visited and examined the projects developed by Marmara University students. Rector Okur received detailed information, spoke with the students, and congratulated them on their efforts. Marmara University Vice-Rector Prof. Dr. Ümit Süleyman Şehirli also visited the stand, closely examined the projects, and expressed his appreciation for the students’ dedication.

With record-breaking participation, TEKNOFEST Istanbul offered Marmara University students the chance to present their projects to a wide audience while continuing to provide an important platform for young people’s contributions to science and technology.
