Prof. Dr. Safi Arpaguş, a faculty member of our Faculty of Theology, who has been serving as the Mufti of Istanbul, was appointed as the President of Religious Affairs by Presidential Decree published in the Official Gazette No. 33021 on September 18, 2025.
