With the approval of our President, H.E. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and pursuant to the appointment decision published in the Official Gazette dated September 6, 2025, Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration Prof. Dr. Mehmet Emin Okur has been appointed as the Rector of Marmara University.

At the handover ceremony held on Monday, September 8, at the Rectorate of Marmara University, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kurt, who had been serving as Rector since August 21, 2021, handed over his office to the new Rector, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Emin Okur, with best wishes for success.

Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Emin Okur extended his gratitude to Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kurt for his valuable services and contributions to our university during his tenure as Rector.
