Prof.Dr. A. Haluk Dursun, Undersecretary of Ministry of Culture and Tourism, made a speech in the conference , which was organized  in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism  and Marmara University Faculty of Arts and Sciences. Undersecretary Dursun stated that “The workings on the  city-human aim to introduce the human and space factors of our deep rooted tradition to the new generations."  It was also indicated that Fehmi Gemuhluoğlu, Ahmed Süheyl Ünver, Ekrem Hakkı Ayverdi, Ali Fuad Başgil and Mahir İz are notable personalities in this project.
