Disaster Preparedness and Response Training Program for staff and students was carried out in cooperation with Marmara University Protection and Security Branch Directorate and Civil Defense Club, on 6 March 2023,  at the İbrahim Üzümcü Conference Hall.

A training on 'Basic Disaster Awareness' was given to the participants by AFAD Officer Kemal Koçak from the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency of the Ministry of Interior. Within the scope of the training program, to which Marmara University staff and students showed great interest, they were informed in detail about many topics such as What is a disaster? What are the things to be done before, during and after the disaster?”, “What are the dangers that may cause disaster and emergency in our country?”.
