Marmara University Korfball Team represented our country by participating in the  50th IKF Europa Cup 2016 that held  in Hungary from 13 to 16 January , 2016.  Marmara University Sport Club that was the 2015 national club champion last year in Turkey participated in the 50th IKF European Korfball Championships 2016 held this year in Budapest, the Capital of Hungary.  Our Korfball Team that chief of delegation was Assist.Prof. Lale Güler, from School of Pyhsical Education and Sports, represented successfully our country in the tournament which was participated by the champion teams from  12 countries. Korfball, the  only ball sport  of  women and men playing  on the same court, is one of the  emerging sports in Turkey. Marmara University School of Physical Education and Sport  has worked devotedly and successfully in this branch.
