Marmara University Hosts Participation Finance Workshop

Marmara University is hosting the first of the Participation Finance Workshop Series organized in cooperation with the Institute of Islamic Economics and Finance (MÜİSEF) and the Participation Banks Association of Turkey (TKBB). The workshop, where participation banking fundraising product development process will be discussed, was  held at Marmara University. The opening speeches of the workshop were made by MUİSEF Director Prof. Dr. Ertuğrul Boynukalın, TKBB  Deputy  Secretary General İsmail Vural, TKBB Chairman of the Board Osman Çelik and Marmara University Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kurt.

Rector Prof. Dr. In his speech, Mustafa Kurt stated that Marmara University, which is a large structure consisting of 86 thousand students and academic and administrative staff, continues its educational activities in 9 different campuses for now, and it will become a strong structure with the transition of academic units to the Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Complex in Maltepe in the future and  contiued "Our university, which took its place among research universities in 2021, will continue  its activities in the future, and I will be very pleased to host important studies as a university, as it is today, together with our very valuable research centers such as the Institute of Islamic Economics and Finance."

The workshop will continue with sessions, in which the current situation, problems and solution proposals in the participation banking fundraising product development process will be discussed.
