Marmara University NBUAM Enhances University–Industry Cooperation with Three Distinct “1505 - TÜBİTAK” Projects

Marmara University Nanotechnology and Biomaterials Application and Research Center (NBUAM) has been awarded support within the scope of the “1505 - TÜBİTAK University–Industry Collaboration Support Program” with three new projects aimed at enhancing university–industry cooperation. These projects encompass diverse research areas, including biosensor development, resin production, and the creation of an alternative treatment approach for acute myeloid leukemia.

The Biosensor Project, to be conducted in partnership with Vestel Healthcare Technologies Inc., will be coordinated by NBUAM researcher Prof. Dr. Nazmi Ekren, with active participation from other researchers at the center.

Another supported initiative, the Resin Production Project, will be carried out in collaboration with Çukurova Chemical Industry Inc. under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Mehmet S. Eroğlu, with contributions from NBUAM’s research team.

The third project, titled Development of an Alternative Treatment Approach for Acute Myeloid Leukemia, will be implemented in collaboration with Verikar Inc., under the coordination of Dr. Ayşe Ceren Çalıkoğlu Koyuncu, together with NBUAM researchers.
