The research project proposal titled "Boron Filament Production", in which Prof. Dr. Bahadır Tunaboylu will take part as a project manager was deemed worthy of the support of Turkish Energy, Nuclear Mining Research Institution (TENMAK ) and it will be carried out in cooperation with EMAG Electronic Machine R&D Inc. Company.  Within the scope of the project, it is aimed that lanthanum hexaboride cathodes, which are used as electron sources in electron microscopes, will be developed as filaments by using innovative design and manufacturing methods and thin-film methods.
