"Western Cultures and Literatures Research Symposium" Was Held by the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences

"Western Cultures and Literatures Research Symposium" (BAKEA), which is held every two years with a different theme, with the theme of "Human", was attended by more than 200 researchers from home and abroad.

The opening speech of the event was made by the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Prof. Dr. Sebahat Deniz. Chairman of the organizing committee and Head of the Department of English Language and Literature Prof. Dr. Mehmet Ali Çelikel and Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Dr. Burak Özsöz stated that the theme of the symposium was extremely meaningful and pointed out that the concepts of human and humanity will continue to be discussed for many years, considering the crimes against humanity committed in Palestine and China. The closing session of the symposium ended with a panel attended by Actor, Art Director and Writer Tamer Levent.
