The project titled "Faunistic, Systematic, Ecological and Zoogeographic Studies on Aleocharinae and Steninae (Coleoptera: Staphylinidae) Subfamilies in the Western and Central Black Sea Region", supervised by  Lect. Dr. Yavuz Turan from the Faculty of Science, was entitled to receive support within the scope of  TÜBİTAK 1001- Scientific and Technological Research Projects Support Program.

In the project, in which Prof.Dr. Mahmut Kabalak from Hacettepe University took part as a researcher, İnci Avşar and Arif Demir were also included as scholars.
